Actor Hugh Jackman and his wife, Deborra-Lee Furness, will officially be getting divorced two years after confirming their split. The pair have been married for 27 years and have two children, Oscar and Ava.

Hugh and Deborra issued a nice, respectful statement claiming their marriage was ending, and they were “seeing it was time to pursue individual growth.” We all know Hollywood statements are like salads – on the surface, they look healthy, but they have a full spicy dressing.

The divorce is reportedly chaos-free, unlike most other Hollywood divorces, which can drag on for weeks, years, and in some cases decades. Deborra-Lee’s lawyer, Elena Karabatos, previously filed legal documents that contained provisions concerning health care, child support, and the settlement

This way, both she and Hugh Jackman appeared to agree on a range of terms quietly, so all they were doing in court was signing papers.

“There was some back-and-forth concerning this financial arrangement; however, at the end of the day, [Deborra] got what she thought she was entitled to. Both are leaving this financially secure,”

Furness believed Hugh had been cheating on her, saying, “Everything in their marriage is based on honesty.

Over their years together, the couple has owned and sold many homes, including a $21 million penthouse in New York City, a $5.9 million beach house in Sydney, and another property in East Hampton, New York.

“They have worked out the particulars in advance, and everything is ironed out about a settlement.” The couple, it seems, are committed to an amicable split and co-parenting their children. Still, Deborra-Lee says she is feeling thankful and working on healing.
